Costs
An initial deposit of £300 is required when you submit your registration form which will guarantee your place on the expedition. One month before departure a further £700 is required. In addition we ask that you raise a minimum of £1000 in sponsorship that will be used to support a number of developmentDIRECT's projects.  All payments can be made by cheque or bank transfer.

Other Information
To take part in Walking the Maasai Way you need to be physically capable of walking up to 25 kms per day, for 5 days in temperatures that could reach the mid 30s Celsius, at an altitude of 4,500 - 7,500 feet.

A full information pack has been prepared to provide you with all of the information you require to properly prepare for your trip. In addition to this there will be an expedition meeting prior to departure so you meet the other members of the party. Relevant representatives of both developmentDIRECT and Ponteland Medical Group will be on hand at this meeting to answer any questions you may have.
